I’m writing this in a state of shock.
I had just reached home, trying to pour myself a glass of water, when I received a call from Iran ,a number that had last called me year ago.

“Shiva, is that you?”
“Yes… Ghazale, is that you?”

“No, I’m her sister. I found your number. I just wanted to tell you… we’ve lost her.”

Her sister asked me to go to Munich and be Ghazale’s voice. They had seen me on TV and in the news and asked me to continue.

She said: Carry our flag with pride. Tell Crown Prince @PahlaviReza that Ghazale kept his photo in her wallet, and that she asked us to tell her friends to continue her path until victory.

Right now, I am devastated. But the world must know: Ghazale was not a political person. She had her own beautiful world, her own dreams.

For people like Ghazale, I will continue until victory. I will confront every obstacle, no matter the cost.
