@Wrenchhead_@ColinDMello Nothing is more conservative than corporate welfare! And after the company gets the free taxpayer funded handout, they'll send the layoff notices out straight away. GM has already pulled this stunt.
BREAKING: Corrupt Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas gets devastating news as Former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe explains how the government could prosecute him for his countless crimes.
This is MAGA's worst nightmare...
"What they need to open an investigation is information that a federal crime has been committed," McCabe said during a podcast conversation with legal analyst Allison Gill.
"There's no law or policy that prevents DOJ from doing that," he continued. "In fact, they are tasked with investigating and prosecuting violations of federal law. This could easily be that. So, it would fall well within their authority to do it, but it would be very, very, very controversial."
The two were discussing the FBI's standards for opening a case as it relates to the shocking revelation that Thomas has been accepting bribes for years in the form of luxury trips, sweetheart loans, and gifts worth millions in total from wealthy Republicans.
Gill pointed out that the FBI should be able to investigate any branch of government. Since they have no problem investigating members of Congress, they should be able to probe the court as well.
The two discussed the "loan" that Thomas received for a luxury RV that was then forgiven, amounting to an out-and-out gift. As Gill explains, Thomas would have owed taxes on the gift and if he failed to pay them it "could be a violation of the law."
"So, the tax case is both good and bad," said McCabe. "It's a little bit tough to work through the hypothetical because of the IRS's investigative jurisdiction, which is actually statutory in nature."
McCabe said that if information emerges that Thomas received the bribe “in return for making a particular judgment or taking an official act on behalf of the person who gave him money" then the FBI "would have the information necessary to meet that low threshold of having information that violates federal or criminal law has occurred or will occur."
Clearly, a full investigation is necessary. Thomas is selling our democracy out for pennies on the dollar and making a mockery of all of us. It's high time that he was investigated, prosecuted, and held accountable for his crimes.

@politvidchannel Gee, it only took 250 plus years for 1 person to find this loop hole in the constitution! Too bad there's nothing in the constitution to deal with the corrupt Supreme Court.
@DonaldJTrumpJr America will be cleaned up nicely once all you Trumps are in prison for their many many crimes. Stole from any children's charities lately? Asking for a friend.
@tedcruz Ted stop lying you treasonous piece of garbage. Trump was indicted by a grand jury of his peers, not his political rivals. Your support for a convicted criminal says it all!
@DWPippy 5. Thomas should be in prison for accepting bribes/gifts and Robert's tossed for the clown show he presided over, illegally allowing Republicans to leave the chambers and come back inside during proceedings. The proceeding with Marsha Blackburn reading a book.
Ms. Hicks teary emotional testimony connected with the jury, and perhaps struck that chord of multiple guilty verdicts. With Hope Hicks now part of prosecution proof, the defense would need the ‘kabuki dance,’ in order to turn the tide in their favor. And this is even before Mike Cohen, Karen McDougal, Stormy Daniels, and maybe others appeared.
“Hope Hicks will be Trump's last Hope. If there is another Trump administration, it will be populated with the likes of Michael Flynn, Steve Miller, Rudy Giuliani, and Mike Lindell (the “My Pillow Guy).
Regardless of the jury’s verdict, the criminal trial for election interference has been a victory for the rule of law. Trump's procedural guilt or innocence will be decided by the jury. But the prosecution’s meticulous proof has established an enduring foundation for the judgment of history—i.e., Trump unlawfully interfered in the outcome of the 2016 election and falsified documents to conceal his crime. That accomplishment should not be overlooked.” — @rbhubbell
“Left obscure in the oral argument in Trump v. United States is that Donald Trump was not executing presidential power in any legally relevant sense when he engaged in the behaviors charged in Jack Smith’s indictment. None of the hard questions of presidential immunity are raised by the case. Indeed, the only hard question is why the lawyers have let it seem as if this is a difficult case.”
