Trying to turn an emergency situation into something beautiful, one moo at a time!
Non-profit org building a Shelter project for farm animals & wildlife~
While I work on making a webpage to upload every part of the path we've embarked on together since March, I'm sharing the twitter threads I made from my personal account on here ⚡
Hi!
I'm trying to save over 400 farm animals I was left to look after on my own due to severe personal problems of the owner.
I contacted a net of sanctuaries that is helping me find new homes for them, but I'm alone to pay for their sustainment!

⚠️ SUMMER HAY EMERGENCY ⚠️
Our Farm Sanctuary in Tuscany, Italy has run out of hay! With no rain for months, the drought situation in Italy is very severe.
Hay is hard to find and suppliers have set astronomical prices.

Things had calmed down and it looked like the situation was a bit easier but now problems arose again because they just DON'T WANT THE ANIMALS HERE but I also don't know where to put them.
Yet.
Because every day I'm fighting all day to get them FED.
I'm not getting anywhere near enough sleep, we're working 16 hours non-stop every day to look after the animals, raise funds, work around beaurocracy etc and I really need a spark of hope right now
Sorry for not updating on here much!
We're trying to solve a few beaurocratic issues that might bring good news going into 2022 👀👀
Fulvia here says hi!
Also, we keep raising funds every day to feed these animals while we work on their future, so any cent we add to the pile is life-saving!

UPDATE N*1: one of the most important turns of events lately was being able to track down a group of goats and sheep that the farm had previously trusted a person to look after; this person severely neglected them for months and then sold them to an unlawful farmer/butcher.
