@AudaxFieldNotes@realMaalouf Growing up in a Muslim country, I often heard of young boys being physically & emotionally abused & young girls being molested in Quranic schools. It’s so bad that some parents would threaten their kids by telling them that they’d get sent to such schools if they were disobedient
@user84829272 Everything for views, likes, and follows these days. Gender reveal, first month, 100 days, 1/6 birthday (6 months celebration), first tooth, etc. And each one is as grand or even bigger than most babies’ first birthday party.
@RevZekveld I would love to see Canada becoming like Poland and formally declaring Jesus Christ as the King of the nation and dedicating the entire country to His kingship. And if Alberta ever managed to be an independent nation, I would love for Alberta to do the same as well.
@RevZekveld I’ve been saying the same thing to my husband. As much as we like the idea of an independent Alberta that’s a fresh start from a declining Canada, if the people of Alberta stay godless & unrepentant, all the struggle towards independence would be a waste of time & effort 1/2
@JebraFaushay She still has the mannerisms and movements of a woman. Even 16 year old boys have deeper voice than her too. She can play pretend all she wants but she can never become and understand what it’s like to be a man because she’s not one.
@kenofintegrity Decides exactly when the soul will return to him. Caring for someone while knowing the inevitable outcome is certainly a pro life position. May your beautiful daughter rest in perpetual peace in Christ’s embrace & may the Lord grant you & your family strength, hope, & peace.
@kenofintegrity This reminds me of Juliana Snow’s case from a decade ago. Her family really loved her & they eventually agreed to let her go instead of trying to prolong her life with numerous procedures that also would inflict more sufferings on her. In cases like this, it is still God who…
@megha_lilly Why can’t one learn to articulate her thoughts properly instead of relying on cussing every few words and sound like a wannabe hood rapper instead of a sophisticated classy lady?. Such deficiency in language skills and articulation is far uglier than Eric Carle’s artworks!, lol
@BeautifulRott@housewelf I have a baby and I totally agree with you. People aren’t horrible just because they want their wedding day to be as peaceful and solemn as they wish it. It’s their once in a lifetime moment, make it about them and not about you and your own wishes.
@housewelf IMO, it’s their day & let them enjoy it however they wish it. If I couldn’t come because of my baby then I’ll stay home, enjoy my baby, and pray for the couple. No big deal, no offense taken. I already had my day & their wedding is about them, not me and my baby.
@WorldOfBeck@marasmith7@housewelf To be honest if my baby can’t come to a wedding, I won’t be offended and I’ll just stay home with her. It’s someone else’s day (I already had mine) and I’ll pray for their happiness and blessings. No big deal. I wasn’t raised to be easily offended and I think it’s a good thing.
@markyeg I used to go to that mall regularly 15 years ago while attending U of A. It was very much alive back then especially on weekdays and during working hours. I haven’t been there in more than a decade and it’s so sad to see it dead and empty like that.
