Recovery is going much better than I could hoped for, so I have signed up to run my first ultra on my new hip at the end of May and I cannot wait 😊

Yesterday I completed 82 miles hiking the magnificent Ridgeway as I marked the course for @ExtremeEnergyUK Druid’s Challenge. As I neared the finish, I felt quite emotional, almost euphoric.

Did my first 2 mile run post hip replacement! I felt great; my hip felt great, so I carried on going and this morning the hip did not ache.
Next big test will be course marking the 85 mile Druids Challenge. If you’re taking part, have a great time and I'll see you at the finish.
