現実問題、九州はポリネシア系の遺伝子が入ってるなぁって感じの人が多く。

うちの母方の祖父も、明治生まれで六尺あった。

ポリネシア人は、モンゴロイドの中では飛び抜けて大柄の体格で、当初は白人との混血を疑われたほど（実際はモンゴロイドにオーストラロイドが混ざった人種）。

北方系の新モンゴロイドは、凍傷にならないよう、髭が薄くなり一重まぶたに進化してるので。古モンゴロイドは髭も体毛も濃い。

なお、軍鶏は闘鶏用で、喰ってたのは軍鶏と小国鶏を交雑したとされる薩摩地鶏。
ただ、盆正月や冠婚葬祭の祝い事ぐらい。基本はサツマイモと雑穀。
