My employer is giving every employee a $2 pay raise for the next 8 weeks to help get through these tough times AND a $500 bonus to anyone that doesn’t call in the next 8 weeks. We are “essential” and I’m thankful we’re still working, making money & being rewarded but its so risky

My husband being gone all the time SUCKS. Taking care of a house and 2 kids by myself & working 50+ hours a week on top of that is literally weighing me the fuck down and burning me out but it’s always been his dream to drive & I don’t want to ruin it for him

& it hit hard. I use my only day off every week to clean my house or grocery shop or cook a nice dinner bc I’m so tired through out the week that I slack in those departments horribly. I need a day for myself but I miss my kids when I’m not with them

My friend at work told me today that I live a boring life, I always put my husband & kids before myself, I never take time for myself, I never have a girls day or a “me” day and I’ve become so lost in being a good mom, wife, & employee that I don’t have time to be ME

It’s been over a month since I’ve been on Twitter 😅 life update: my husband got his cdl, I’m still working 10-12 hour days 5-6 days a week, I’m alone with my kids basically every night, my house is destroyed, my car is falling apart, & I’m always tired. I need some serious help

WE BOOKED A CRUISE! 🚢🎉 Were flying to Miami to get on the ship. I’ve never been on a plane or a ship so my anxiety is at an all time high even thinking about it 😅 airports, airplanes, the unknown in the ocean, leaving my babies for 9 days 😭 but it’s so needed
