Been having a LOT of trouble on ios26 with the keyboard, Bluetooth, battery drain… just lots of weird stuff going on and I’m just wondering how widespread their testing is before going live with these updates. My AirPods keep disconnecting while listening, or lagging my music and then it speeding to catch up… phone calls making people sound robotic when talking through Bluetooth devices, keyboard feels very hard to type on for some reason… just very bad feeling update @Apple .

I think the sentiment is not that life doesn’t go on for everyone else, but had the show simply omitted the word, “mom”, it would have been just as heartfelt without compounding on the pain Savannah is enduring. This is the network on which Savannah works, so it would be reasonable for her coworkers who seemingly, or at least present to, like her to not do a specific segment celebrating the exact thing she has just lost. TV is all highly scripted and curated, so an “oversight” like this is at best negligent, and at worst, cruel. It just reads as insensitive in this specific context, given the immediate proximity all of them have to Savannah.
