@widow_waiting@priceyhj I was so lucky to be the human half of a hospital therapy dog team. My boy loved working the oncology unit. He always seemed to know exactly who needed him and if they wanted him to be engaging vs a sleepy cuddle. I just held the leash.

@adribbleofink I was on an NYC bus when the driver had a seizure that caused his foot to floor the gas pedal. We sped down 5th Avenue at high speed through red lights for 7 blocks until we crashed into a china shop.

@cathrinew@gogrillaFT Early in my career I was in Vegas and had lunch alone at a restaurant owned by a famous chef. I was treated like such an oddity that I ate as fast as I could and left. 20 years and 100s of biz trips later, I see their behavior as a reflection on them, not me.
