Much of #Scotland is exactly like this - plenty of lakes & rolling high hills on the horizon ⛰

After finishing our trip we both agreed that Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 was the ideal place to get away from it all.

Whether it’s for writing a book or reconnecting with nature 🌊🌳

Churches and cathedrals ⛪️ make for an interesting place to see when you are travelling.

Ever since Oskar & I got together, we’ve made it a point to visit these structures to appreciate the architecture! 😊

This is the iconic Bean of #Chicago 🌱 and for some reason, Veronika didn’t expect it to be so big - you can actually walk under it! 😅

The Devils Tower Monument is humongous 😳 Definitely an eerie structure in the middle of the forests of #Wyoming 🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲

We were surprised to find out that scientists believe this is what remains of the lava once exploding from a volcano! 🌋 #roadtrip #UnitedStates

Honestly never expected geysers to smell like rotten eggs until we visited #Yellowstone National Park 😅

These creations may be beautiful and otherworldly, but the smell isn’t for the weak-hearted! 😬🤣 #usroadtrip

It’s so important to spend time together as a couple 💑

And by that we don’t mean the “hey, how was work?” conversations 💭 but *actual* time spent together for hours on end, exploring each other’s curiosities & interests! 😊

It felt like swimming through a sea of pine trees 🌲 surrounded by scenic waterfalls, rivers and hydrothermal wonders 💨 #roadtrip

The Bonneville Salt Flats felt uniquely grand and empty at the same time.

It’s only when you can see so far into the horizon, can you truly appreciate the scope of the place! #roadtrip #utah

When you ask the universe, it provides 🔮🎁😊

We got super lucky with our car rental in the US with @hertz and got a superb upgrade to an outstanding American muscle car - the Dodge Challenger! 😍

This made our road trip at least 33% more exciting and authentic! 🇺🇸

The space is equally beautiful and terrifying. 🥺

While it may seem you are in the flatlands, there are thousands of feet between you and the sea level at the #grandcanyon 🌄

We’re slowly getting back into it, but keep catching ourselves daydreaming about our US #roadtrip 🇺🇸
