@mntn_guy@twinjuuskii@Shane00 They would’ve gotten the idea from common sense. If they want to be the best team, then they have to get the best players they can
@Belawu4@BronMuse Lebron lead both teams in ppg, rpg, apg, spg, and bpg for the 2016 finals. Lebron also averaged more ppg, rpg, and apg than AD did in the 2020 finals
@HoopMixOnly Here’s the thing…people are starting to look at the COMPETITION.
The Olympic /FIBA stuff was against Division 2 competition. Meaningless.
The 82 title was Worthy’s team. MJ lost as the leader in 83 and 84.
And the Finals comp didn’t compare to Lebron or Magic, for instance.
@Ceo_Branding That’s because of the 2014 finals where his teammates played terribly, it’s not a good stat to look at for measuring individual players at all
@jazztown@destrphforless Individual stats aren’t about 1 on 1 ability, they’re about overall basketball ability in a 5v5 setting. Team accolades are meaningless when debating who’s a better player
