Unpopular opinion-while Sam Matterface will never be a great commentator like a Barry Davies, a Clive Tyldesley or a Martin Tyler, he's nowhere near as bad as people make out. It's just the in thing to act like he commits crimes aganst football

They'll fine tune these hydration breaks soon surely. Like the idea of them makes sense in that most of the tournament will be played in high temperatures but they need to exercise a bit of common sense

I did my usual no 0-0s all tournament bet which has to my knowledge never happened in any world cup but I'm traumatised by France 0 Denmark 0 being the only goalless game in 2018 and I'm already imagining Spain V Cape Verde being the only godless draw all tournament
