In High school, I was in love with this young woman in my class. It was her birthday and I used a marker to write “Happy Birthday X” on my inner white shirt.

We had a football match during inter house sports and I was usually played as the striker.

The plan was to score, take my Jersey off, display my shirt and make her blush.

Coach Oriaku didn’t put me in the match.
