This particular guy did this surgery in India, this particular surgery would take a Senior registrar in Maxillofacial surgery in UNTH nothing less than 5 hours to fix I swear to God..! Not to talk of a consultant or a professor..! So why the stress running abroad..? This is even a benign growth and it’s not even an emergency to begin with.

That was how they wasted money flying baddie of LASU to Egypt to fix common Bilateral Genu varum, if they have done that surgery in UNTH they would have enough change for post op and even have a lot of change left. A lot of change oooo..!

A while back, I resuscitated a newborn who came out not breathing with no detectable cardiac activity.
The baby’s heart started beating at about 3 minutes of resuscitation, and spontaneous breathing began around the 8th minute.
Less than an hour of life, the baby started convulsing. We swung into action and managed him with everything we had.
At home, I would pray for the child, hoping for a good outcome.

At discharge, I counselled the parents on the prognosis and possible developmental delay.

Follow-up visits since then: the child keeps attaining all milestones on time, with no delay.

Cases like this stay with you, not because of how critical they looked initially, but because of how quietly they rewrite what you thought you knew about medicine, prognosis of diseases and human recovery!

Mint will do you a lot of goodwill and you’ll do more appreciation and good by always having cash. N5k mint offline is more appreciated than N10 transfer online. It is just psychology. Everyone loves mint.

Even N1k mint goes far offline than N5k transfer online. Social media can create entitlement because people already assume your worth and show gratitude depending on their expectation.

I always have mint because it is easier to give. When I go on morning walks, I share money to the estate security, give money to the LAWMA women on the road doing their morning sweep. Sometimes, they are like 10 under a shade and they are grateful and happy that you made their day. The male team that empties the bin one house after another, I share money to them and they start hailing you. When I eat in a restaurant, I tip the person that served me. Then I look for a male staff and put something in his hand because I know men rarely get tipped. Sometimes, it could be the guy sweeping or mounting the door. If they are different people, I give both. Then there is always that person that looks battered and hungry on the road. Sometimes, I someone signals that he is hungry but is afraid to approach. I call them over and out cash in their hand. There is always a beggar before you walk 3 streets, N5h or N1k will brighten their eyes. I have bias for kids and I hate child labour. Those kids they send to clean your car window tragic, I hate it. I ask them to leave it and put money in their hands. That is a day’s meal for them. Even the LASTMA on my street get their lunch from me when I see them under the sun controlling traffic. If my friend brings their partner to see me, I put a packet of mint in madam’s hand.

With cash, you get to do less transfer. You can’t be doing N1k transfer to everybody, so once you’ve done N5k like 3 times, you’re convinced you’ve done enough. N20k mint will do a lot of good to different people in a day than transfer will ever do. N5h mint will move you faster from 9ja police checkpoint than speaking English. Hail them and chook lunch in their hand and everyone is happy and back to business.

NIGERIA IS A MASSIVE CRIME SCENE.
For those who may not be aware,
I will share a little true-life story that will shock you to the bones about this money.

Actually the money found in this Lagos apartment in 2017 was not only 43million dollars. They also found £28,000 and 23million naira ALL IN CASH at the apartment. Yes, ALL IN CASH.

Guess who the owner of that apartment is? A former director of the NIA and former ambassador of Nigeria to commonwealth. A gentleman called Chief Ayo Oke.

By February 7,  2019; two years later after the money was found in his apartment, the Federal High Court in Lagos issued a warrant for the arrest of Chief Oke, former director general of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), and his wife Folasade following an application by EFCC. Just before their court date, they reportedly left the country for “medical treatment”.

The EFCC then declared the couple wanted after their failure to respond to court summons. They were charged with the theft and laundering of staggering amounts of public money. One of the EFCC charges relates to roughly $43 million, £28 thousand, and ₦23 million—all in cash—that the EFCC found in this their Lagos apartment following the 2017 raid.

Another charge by the EFCC against th couple relates to $160 million that the couple allegedly diverted from the Nigerian federal government for their own use.

In 2017, after this scandalous discovery of money in his apartment, Chief Oke was suspended as director general of the NIA. The then Vice president of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo headed a committee that investigated the incident and recommended to President Buhari that the director general be removed. 

Till today, NOBODY knows what happened to that money and where that money is right now. As I said above, it was not just 43 million dollars found in that house. The also found £28,000 and 23 million Naira ALL in cash. In that same apartment. On that same day in April 2017.

Now for the icing on the cake:
Guess where Chief Ayodele Oke is now?
He is quietly back in the country after Tinubu freshly nominated him few weeks ago as an ambassador. Yes, the same man who fled the country and evaded the courts when suspicious millions of dollars was found in his apartment. He is now an ambassador representing our country before the international community.

And no, what you just read now is NOT fiction, it is not nollywood and it is not a wild imagination.
