gm gm. Some of my collected work on @foundation.
Unfortunately B&W reportage work is not the flavor of the month. Never was, really. Curiosity about the world and being non-judgmental about the multitude of cultures in it are prerequisites.
These images are about the other, and, paradoxically, about me (and the viewer), because self and other are but poles of the same field.
It is said that we only start appreciating what no longer is present. Documentary photography therefore is an important piece of the puzzle that is our existence. As the world turns evermore inwards I will continue to focus my lens outwards and hope that there's sufficient support to be able to do that.
But even in the absence of said support I will find a way to continue as it connects me to the wonder of it all, and that, my friends, is all that one could hope for in this magnificent journey called life.

“What does the money machine eat? It eats youth, spontaneity, life, beauty, and, above all, it eats creativity. It eats quality and shits quantity.”
— William S. Burroughs
“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed.”
― Terence McKenna

"Completely at peace with the transitory nature of life she folded her wings for the last time, lay down on a bed of freshly fallen leaves, and let her spirit rise to heights unknown into realms unknowable.
Fully aware that this scene, too, would vanish without a trace I stood there silently, before, in a vain attempt to capture the ineffable, I took a photograph."

gm gm all you playful souls. Life's a dance, a game of hide and seek with the Self. Realizing this unity has been called many things: liberation, moksha, rapture. The purpose of the dance is to dance, understand that and the dance becomes child's play. https://t.co/r9uUO8lCLA
A question: if migrating my work from Foundation contract to Manifold contract costs anything, why would I care to migrate? Instead, I could just mint again this same work on Manifold contract whenever I want. Would there be anything wrong with that? Would anyone care? 🤔
Nothing new under the sun. Shakespeare knew it.
“The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve,
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind.”
