Building the future infrastructure for lighting.
Preserving creative intent.
Eliminating workflow fragmentation.

The drawings look right.
The lux levels check out.
So why does the lighting feel different on site?

Surface reflectance. Fixture choices. Material finishes. Execution.

Software should support judgment, not impersonate it.

ALYA.

[Alya by The Light Co @lightcoalya]

What must intelligent software never lose?

Design intent.
Why decisions were made.
Revision history.

Authorship and approvals. Evidence behind the work.
Because professional judgment cannot be reduced to an output.

[Alya by The Light Co @lightcoalya]

Lighting design doesn't end at the drawing.

It continues in conversations, coordination, site decisions, aiming and refinement.

Technology can support the process.
Human judgment shapes the outcome.

We credit the architect.
We admire the interior.
But where is the lighting designer?

Too many credit lines miss the person who shaped the atmosphere.

Nominate someone who deserves recognition:

A lighting professional shouldn't have to be the memory of an entire project.

Briefs. Drawings. Site messages. Revisions. Decisions.

ALYA is being built to connect the context between them.

The finished photograph is only the final frame.

Behind it: the brief, sketch, calculation, drawing, specification, revision and site decisions.

Every stage carries the original intent forward.

ALYA is building intelligence around that continuity.

The craft is visible. The work deserves to be.

[Alya by The Light Co @lightcoalya]

The relationship between them is the design.

ALYA.

[Alya by The Light Co @lightcoalya]

A room can hit the lux target and still fail the people inside it.

Because lighting isn't one number.

Distribution. Contrast. Accent. Vertical light. Darkness. Controls.

Each matters.

[Alya by The Light Co @lightcoalya]

Behind great lighting is human judgment.

Intent. Decisions. Calculations. Drawings. Revisions. Execution.

ALYA is building intelligence around that work, not instead of it.

The professional stays at the centre.
The workflow gets smarter.

Contrast. Glare. Optics. Aiming. Control.

When lighting works, you experience the result.

Credit the lighting professional behind it.

[Alya by The Light Co @lightcoalya]

You see the finished space.

What you don’t see are the decisions behind it.

What stays quiet.
What your eye finds first.

Technology can support the workflow.

It can organize, calculate and connect.

But it cannot decide what a space should feel like.

That still takes judgment. Intent. A human eye.

The atmosphere still needs you.

ALYA - intelligence around design. Human judgment at the centre.

[Alya by The Light Co @lightcoalya]

You see the finished space.

What you don’t see are the decisions behind it.

Intent. Calculations. Drawings. Documentation. Revisions. Coordination.

Lighting has evolved.

The systems carrying those decisions should too.
