Lightdash

The open-source AI native BI platform. Made for analysts ♥️

You can’t be fast and good is fake news spread by the slow

When we first shipped Autopilot, our customers were very honest with us about it. They said it did the job, but it was too trigger-happy. Data teams wanted to decide what it could change, see exactly what it had done and why, and run it on the models of their choice. So we rebuilt it between the public beta and going GA.

Now you choose what Autopilot is allowed to touch, and it can run in read-only mode while you get comfortable with it. Every action is logged, and anything it removes can be restored from the trash.

That's one of my favorite things about building at Lightdash. Our customers tell us what they need, and the team crafts it immediately.

I’m speaking at the @ClickHouseDB AI Builders and Databases meetup in London tomorrow!

I'll talk about where AI fits into analytics right now and where we at @lightdash_devs think it's headed.

Claude launched its newest artifact last week - dashboards! We've been testing them out at @lightdash_devs and they're pretty great.

@datumnite wrote up a short blog on how to use them: https://t.co/ogBLArRgJ8

Six chart follow-ups took 5.5s with Fast mode and 59.8s without.

@lightdash_devs is not simply a BI tool.

We are your opportunity to access frontier AI for analytics without having to worry about governance, or token spend, or distractions for the team.

@typesafeai released jev a couple of weeks ago.

It's already in our product, and our AI Agent is literally 10x quicker than any other "BI tool"

Don't believe me? Here it is in action compared to our existing agent (which was the quickest, on the right).

Rolling out to all our customers from today.

Yesterday we used coding agents to build a data stack live with @dltHub and @motherduck.

Everything happened from the terminal, from the GitHub API to a governed answer in Lightdash.
