@Qwestifier@jflipflop10@toybabez Babe, being asexual doesn’t mean you no longer have nerve endings. Stimulation still feels good. The mental attraction just isn’t there.
You can absolutely be asexual and still enjoy the physical sensations that come from intimacy.
@GarbageThief_@PinkLemonShark@FwipsArt It’s not though. And sure. you don’t have to like it. I get bored by most sci-fi.
But “It doesn’t speak to me” does not equal misogyny. Shockingly.
@GarbageThief_@PinkLemonShark@FwipsArt And I explained why your perception isn’t accurate. And again, for it to be “bad” what you described would have to be necessary, intrinsic or required for the genre. It’s not.
You can’t label everything bad just because you read trash fics. Lmaooo
@GarbageThief_@PinkLemonShark@FwipsArt Well that’s why your wrong and people are disagreeing with you. Lol.
“I don’t like it!” isn’t how misogyny works, champ.
@poetartistjh I’m always fascinated by the edgy batman fans that complain when nightwing isn’t depicted as a brooding loner and is instead someone with healthy friendships and active communication they maintain. lol.
Having friends and relying on them isn’t unintelligent
@poetartistjh Okay I see the issue.
You view character intelligence as “Does everything himself perfectly with plot armor making it make sense” like poorly written batman
So a character with connections tactfully using those connections to make things easier and more efficient is confusing
@poetartistjh Because so far your examples have been
“He was outsmarted by an intelligent and capable pair of women”
“He was beaten in a fight” (which is a unoriginal point since that’s just part of the blockbuster arc)
and
“He called his friends for help when it was needed”
@poetartistjh Except I still have yet to see a single example of him being incompetent.
Comic fans tend to do this thing where you join a bandwagon with a vague opinion “He’s incompetent!” and then never able to actually back that claim up with substance from the comics.
