Never had an attachment with YAFYWBH and it is so tied to HM anyway, so it's a whatever for me. I'm happy if we're really about to get CTV 🥰 that's the only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star.
It just clicked for me. "less" - "expectations" - "cigarette smoke" track run gives the same feeling as the track run of "loml" - "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart" - "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived".
Good for them. It's kinda obvious that this new category is a bait for them to finally win a Grammy. And it feels icky to me, and I'm not even a fan of the band at all
BTS announces they will not submit their music for the 2027 GRAMMY awards, following the Recording Academy’s addition of an Asian-focused category:
“I hope music itself can be heard and loved rather than being distinguished by region or language.”
The GRAMMYs are introducing their first Asian category at next year’s ceremony.
Best Asian Pop Music Performance will recognise K-Pop, J-Pop, C-Pop recordings that feature meaningful use of one or more Asian languages.
Anyways.. I'm a fan of the new album. Not like it's the best album of all time, but I'm considering buying the CD. I only buy physical when I really like the album as a whole. And I don't even have a CD player lol, album CD for me is like vinyl for a lot of Americans.
I love "you seem pretty sad...", who am I kidding, I can't not love when artists put effort to make an album that is more than just a collection of songs. I'm going to update my ranking later. And no, Drop Dead still doesn't grow on me.
Another thing about Olivia. I see glimpses of how she moves to shed people's image of her, that she's hugely inspired by Taylor. Of course an artist can be inspired by multiple other artists, and it's probably my own projection, but whatever she does, she can never do that to me
They don't have to cancel each other out, but in my opinion if the photos are to be published right now it will add fuel to the fire even more. I think it will be later. T&T are probably on honeymoon anyway, they wouldn't want to deal with internet stuff at the time being.
If you're a big fan it's totally fair that you want to see the photos. At the same time asking her publicist to debunk false info on posts with big number of engagements.
You guys don't understand these people knew her when she a little kid doing her math homework at the back of the tour bus now they get to see her getting married
20 years ago today, @taylorswift13 made her first appearance on a Billboard chart, as her debut single “Tim McGraw” entered #HotCountrySongs at No. 60. 📈🤠
In that week’s issue, Billboard wrote that the then-16-year-old singer “gets first national chart ink exclusively in Billboard. Song title name-checks fellow artist.” Fittingly, @TheTimMcGraw himself was at No. 4 on the chart that week with “When the Stars Go Blue.”
“Tim McGraw” went on to peak at No. 6 on Hot Country Songs 30 weeks later and also became Swift’s first Billboard Hot 100 hit, reaching No. 40 in January 2007. The song served as the lead single from Swift’s self-titled debut album, which later spent 24 weeks at No. 1 on Top Country Albums.

In my for you page, I marked tweets by blue check swifties and "swifties" who keep responding to minor negative discourse as "not interested" so I can see less of those. Now my FY tab is full of golden check accounts of big corporations, of things that I'm not interested in.
Admitting that she has a safety net and doesn't have to grow up struggling financially are the refreshing points for me tbh. At least that's what I get from this clip.
Gracie Abrams says on Popcast that the nepo baby discourse surrounding her is appropriate:
“The nepo stuff is obviously in the discourse appropriately. I think about the privilege there, and it’s like, I had a safety net, and that allowed me the ability to experiment and to concentrate and I had the gift of time to dedicate to doing this thing I loved. I wasn’t growing up afraid financially, and that’s the biggest deal.”
Music critic Anthony Fantano speaks to Variety after being slammed by Halsey:
“We’re talking about a two-year-old review here where I’ve remained mostly silent on the reception of the review, despite the fact that Halsey and her fans, for the duration of that time, have pushed the narrative that I disliked the album — or said in my assessment of the album that there was a ‘self-centeredness’ about it — because she was sick. That I specifically attacked this album and tore it apart because there’s some cartoonishly evil characteristic about me that somehow just singled this album out because of who she is or the illness that she suffered during that time in her life that inspired the record, which couldn’t be further from the truth... I’m not the devil himself for not enjoying this album. On top of that, it has nothing to do with Halsey being a woman. There are countless women whose projects I’ve championed over the years. I have no problem with enjoying and supporting the work of women, especially women who address serious issues in their work."

I don't really care about the details of TS' personal relationship, but whenever I watched back the Mary's Song x SHS x EHC mash-up, I got teary-eyed, no lie. I think I was moved by the art more than anything. It felt like watching a picturesque slideshow.
I think 97% of the time I never agree with any of Taylor's endorsements of other artists or songs. Hell, I don't even agree with at least 13% of her choices of her own musical outputs. And you know what? It's fine. You like what you like.
