@doggaway I'm crying here but I'm so glad you, @JaneFoth and @d6y had so much fun and great times together for 14 years, looking after and enjoying being with each other.
@GemmaAlexa1990@Emma_A_Webb@virginmedia Customer service: EE/BT 1 - Virgin Media 0. That was a short stint of using Virgin Media for broadband. Hopefully BT will be as reliable in current address as it was in my previous. Ironically, VM service checker STILL says "We can’t see any issues affecting [my postcode]"... 3/3
@GemmaAlexa1990@Emma_A_Webb@virginmedia Called EE to buy more mobile data so that I can keep running my business. Mentioned reason for data add-on. Was told that if I switch BT broadband, they will buy me off Virgin contract. Agreed to this and got unlimited mobile data till BT broadband connected and beyond. 2/3
@GemmaAlexa1990@Emma_A_Webb@virginmedia My update: Tried to find out why I have 95% no service all of a sudden. Got canned responses to use service checker. Two days later I finally got to talk to an actual person on chat. Found out that there's maintenance in my area and won't likely get internet until 16th Nov. 1/3
@virginmedia 80 minutes ago I got a text saying "We are sorry you are still waiting to be connected to one of team. [...] As soon as agent becomes available they will message you."
@virginmedia Thanks for the text number. I called the phone number earlier today but couldn't get anywhere because I don't remember my phone support password (?!). Text bot said 40 mins ago that I'd get a text from an actual human. Still waiting. Getting a bit ridiculous now.
@virginmedia Yes, the computer that is connected to the hub via wire doesn't get internet. It's been down again for over an hour. Can't get work done. Can you help?
@virginmedia Not at the moment... I've had a bit more service since this morning, but it keeps dropping every now and then. Hub lights flash when it reconnects, I believe. I've run the "check your hub" a couple of times - all cable connections are secure. Very flaky service, though.
@virginmedia Thanks for replying, but my question was how do I *report* a problem? Your checker keeps saying there's no problem in my area, yet I only get a few seconds of service here and there, then it drops again. Can you help because I can't deliver photos to my clients atm?
@virginmedia@GemmaAlexa1990 Is there an option somewhere to *report* a problem? The checking service keeps telling me there's no problem in my postcode but I haven't had internet since about 2 pm today.

Having seen lots of photos and comments from people yesterday saying that the beach was "packed" at sunset yesterday, I went there with some apprehension, but shouldn't have worried - plenty of space for social distancing.
As a Finn, who used to spend much of her years in snowy conditions (before moving to England), I found it quite amusing how excited I was about a bit of frost in the trees the other day!
@La_Pope YouTube is your friend - on top of in-person training, of course. I've learned lots of clicker training ideas and skills from YouTube. This is one good source: https://t.co/FLzbG4TYQO
