@TicsnTatts This was my experience as well. I didn’t get a diagnosis until after my son got one and the doctors couldn’t say it was something else. I wish there was more research on this type of presentation.
Ableist microagression of the day: After telling someone about an unpleasant ableist encounter he told me to learn to brush it off. Sure. I’ve never developed skills to ignore ableist crap. I’m not using them right now or anything.

Ableist microagression of the day: being asked to assess the accessibility of content because I am a lead of an employee resource group for people with disabilities and have a disability myself. I mean just Google it! Seriously. Or PAY ME for my work.
