Much like how my brain appears so resistant to tasks it's almost like I'm afraid to do it. Sometimes the option is throwing yourself into the deep end, but that is not always sustainable..

@MondegreenM @KBAndersen Military personnel are stationed in bases all over the country, regardless of where they are from. So it's weird to assume the residents living in the state are reliant on those bases existing. It might help the local economy a bit but it doesn't mean the state depends on the fed

@MondegreenM @KBAndersen It does use a weird metric in it's analysis - "Share of Federal Jobs" so if you have more federal jobs in your state, that makes your citizens more reliant on the Fed Gov? Not necessarily true considering that includes military bases in AK..

@KBAndersen But this is how the Senate is intended to work, represent the states' interest in Congress. Therefore every state government gets 2. The House is supposed to represent the people proportionally (which does need an update of course)

Is there a better commercial for Rank Choice Voting than what is going on with the Speaker's vote in the House ? The current system, from primary to generals to speaker voting, empowers the extremes to the expense of constituants. Time to change
