So someone just pointed out to me that on the Maersk website,Onitsha is now available as a port of final destination. A vessel departing Shanghai Oct 10 (this Sat) has Onitsha listed as terminal port (arrival Dec 2, 2020).

I’m just seeing this so would be good to get more info!!

This is awesome. Onitsha Port changes a whole lot for Nnewi, Onitsha and Aba. Augmenting these with rail liberates goods movement in the east.

It is time to build industrial parks all over and start an urban renewal programme.
