@rogentopia The more I’m looking into this the more I’m realizing the world just witnessed a celebrity sacrifice their fans to the devil. It’s fucking eery.
2-3x what they would be originally. I could understand having to pay maybe $5 extra but 25-$30 EXTRA FOR ONE KIND OF KNOCKED LOOSE SHIRT AND $40 FOR A FUCKING BANDANA. Are you kidding me? Fuck mammoth. And until they get new sponsors, fuck knotfest.
@Loudwire for some reason I can’t post your guys’s article where you talked to Mammoth about that shitshow of a knotfest, so I’m going to add to this thread exactly why they’re full of shit.
They also failed to mention that they had the merch booths buy the band merch off the bands themselves, while the bands only took 1/2 profit off of their original prices, and then the merch booths racked up the prices as they were told to by knotfest
7/ taught you? @Loudwire mammoth gave you a run for your money in the most bullshit business way ever. They might as well have said “ we’re sending our thoughts and prayers” Bc this response equates that effect. Worthless.
6/ not to mention the whiskey tasting? Where you sold hundreds of tickets for people to do the whiskey tasting with the clown only to take most of the peoples money and tell them only 50 people got to participate? Is that what ‘30 years’ of doing this shit
5/ and also where’s the acknowledgment for the shams like the VIP ‘meet and greet’ that didn’t actually happen? Literally you rushed slipknot in, had them take a shitty group photo with everyone, and didn’t give a single VIP person their fucking merch.
4/ “ we will make sure things like this don’t happen in the future” nah what’s that going to do for everyone right now? Refunds are definitely in order. Why the fuck did thousands of people pay an upwards of $150 just to watch their favorite bands from a line?
They literally waited until the last second to tell people where they needed to be and what they needed to do. They had literally TWO security guards present for the entire event. And ONLY at the barricades.
“ the vendors situation shouldn’t reflect negatively on us” it absolutely should. They were the ones in charge of the entire event, they were the ones responsible for the shitty organization. “ we had to scrounge for workers last minute” 2/
That’s 100% a fucking lie. We talked to so many of the workers there and they all said the same thing. They’d signed up to work knotfest months before, but were told nothing about when they needed to be where. Mammoth didn’t have to scrounge for workers last
