It’s been a month since Tokitae passed.
53 years stolen from her. Toki, a gentle, sweet natured soul. Her long time trainer, Marcia, was preparing her for her move to a seaside enclosure.
Marcia posted at Toki’s passing “This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you”.

Could never understand why the paying customers couldn’t see the cruelty of #Lucy’s existence. The zoo’s management just sees the dollars she brings in. Tragic existence she has led.

But #EdmontonValleyZoo likes to keep her ‘cos she draws customers to gawk at her. He’s had a wretched life, poor sweet soul. She needs to retire. Even humans retire so why can’t she?
