Remains of 41 victims of the Yazidi genocide have been returned to Sinjar for burial. However, dozens of mass graves await excavation, and thousands of victims are yet to be identified.
@NadiaMuradBasee has urged the Iraqi government to take urgent action. https://t.co/VZbUsTzEyI
@afalkhatib I appreciate people like you so much. It's easy to feel like I'm losing my mind, as a Jew in the diaspora who wants only good things for all the civilians involved. It's hard not to let the chorus of voices that act as if caring about my own safety and the safety of my friends +
@Itmechr3 Can you at the ~very~ least say "the IDF" and/or "the Israeli state instead of blaming every single person who happens to live in that country?
it's astounding how little attention the current developments in Myanmar receive, both in international news coverage and on the diplomatic front.
Makes you think most of the world won't notice what is happening there until resistance forces start rolling into the capital.
The first PDF fighter I spoke to fought with a home made single shot .22 rifle , in the two years since then the whole world assumed these people would lose, and die horribly in the process. That they’ve done this more or less alone in the face of a whole damn state is incredible
like yeah, it's nice that this person agrees with your stance on bombing Palestine. But if they also hang our with holocaust deniers or Bashar Al Assad, maybe don't smash that quote tweet button and attach your credibility to them.
If you're a journalist or a public figure, this is especially important. People look to us to sort through all the disinfo on here and retweeting people who have peddled in conspiracy and war crimes denial really just launders their credibility in a dangerous way
Please please please check your sources on here before promoting something. I’ve seen people promote absolutely awful people on here because they had an anti Zionist tweet.
to everyone who is boosting certain peoples' reporting, we all have a responsibility not to boost certain figures who deny the oppressions of Uyghurs, Syrians, etc. these figures will gain followers and people who listen to them who later down the line will trust what they say
I thought it would be a good idea to post all incidences of antisemitism thus far and yet to be seen under this, since obviously 60,000 people have missed it or find the concept funny
