This whole new Underground rap scene is highkey just horrible. The high pitch voice, crush, distorted sound all sounds the same with the same lyrics. It needs to stop. The underground’s currently goin’ nowhere and it’s a joke. I’m not claimin’ to be sum saint but at the end of the day I pour my raw soul & energy into 99% of my music. I make what I love, what I feel, I’m bein’ myself. Almost nobody doin’ that these days but that’s originally what made the Underground the Underground in the first place. So now when people do stand out to create what the UG was rooted to be; those are the ones flamed for it. Stop tryna fit in to be like “THAT”. Just be “YOU”. Not every lyric has to be true but place your souls raw energy into that moment. That’s what separates music from art. That’s what an Artist truly is.
