Joy Harjo, 2019-20 U.S. poet laureate, comes to Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park for a reading and book-signing Feb 19 @ 5:30pm.

Harjo, a member of the Muscogee Creek Nation, is the 1st Native American to be named U.S. poet laureate.

We are very excited to offer Joy Harjo's books in our museum store at Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park. A member of The Muscogee Creek Nation, Harjo became the first Native American to be named the U.S. Poet Laureate in Poetry for 2019-2020 by the Library of Congress.
