Another Flight Emergency ‼️ American Airlines flight (#AA5085)
from Nashville, heading to Washington, DC had a Hazmet ☣️ situation after a service dog got sick and started to relieve himself on the
floor. Here is some audio from air traffic control. ATC.

The smell made lots of passengers sick, As they pulled up to the gate to the airport hazmat team and people in bio hazard gear met with the passengers and were safely able to exit the plane.

American Airlines took the plane out of service for 24 hours to do a deep clean.

At the Costa Maya pier in Mexico, Myron was on a Carnival cruise with his wife for their anniversary when an elderly passenger fell from the pier into the ocean.

Before anyone could fully react, he jumped in — no life jacket, no safety net, just instinct and courage to save a stranger’s life.

Salute to this king. The world needs more people who move like this when it matters most.

Spins can be deadly. In the earliest days of aviation, nobody knew how to get out of one. If you got in a spin, you just died.

Then in 1912 or 1916 (date varies), a British mathematician / pilot came up with an idea to get out of a spin.

A test pilot volunteered to try. Risky, but it worked…then he climbed back up, spun his plane in the opposite direction & recovered that, too, in front of an awed audience.

During WWI, British pilots were taught to deliberately enter a spin if they found themselves on the losing end of a dogfight. German pilots would break off the attack, expecting to see their prey auger in…but to their surprise, the British pilots would recover. By then, they were out of range of the German airplane.
