I think comparing the trauma of the black experience with the trauma of the woman experience is more harmful to the discussion. While these movies are partially exaggerated, they're still about REAL issues people face and making it a 'who has it worse?' contest is not healthy.
A woman can type "I hate men" while being with a man because, for women, "I hate men" means "I hate rapists, potential rapists, fuckboys, and ill-mannered men." That phrase does not refer to respectable men(it's hard to find).Maybe her partner is none of those things.
men be like:
who's worse, a rapist who actively destroyed a woman and his friend's lives for his own lust, or the woman simply because she didn't feel any attraction to him (but he was still extremely important to her)?
