Amazing piece @RadBullXRD
I sometimes question myself why I continue to build and support Radix, with its lack of general adoption and awareness and then I read an article like this and I'm reminded of what makes Radix so unique and such an opportunity.
Eventually the world will realise you need to be able to linearly and atomically scale composability if you ever want to achieve global scale.
Radix is the only network that has publicly demonstrated this ability.
OK, here is my short pitch for @radixdlt, not just for the next three months but for the next three years.
- All blockchains are ultimately about having a single trustless ledger to hold and use assets - tokens, NFTs, ID, in-game items, or anything else that has value.
- Achieving this = doing for assets what the internet did for data - many to many, user to app, app to app, etc.
- To do this, a platform must be scalable, secure, permissionless, easy to build on, and intuitive for anyone to use. It has to be the best possible "rails" for asset movement.
Radix is the only thing that meets this criteria.
How?
Full stack approach.
10+ years of R&D for a novel consensus algorithm that scales linearly - more nodes = more TPS without sacrificing instant interoperability between any asset or app, security, or decentralization.
A unique virtual machine that is like a "game engine" for assets. It is fully flexible but makes asset behavior predictable so most hacks/exploits are impossible.
Asset-oriented programming lang based on Rust. It makes it intuitive for devs to build powerful, secure apps.
All of the above enables a UX that is impossible elsewhere. People can confidently use it because transactions are actually human readable, outcomes are enforced by the network not apps, and multi-factor support for recovery is built in, not "abstracted".
It's not just 1 thing that makes Radix the only real contender to be the universal asset layer - it's many improvements together than make the whole greater than the sum of the parts.

Soak testing to billions and billions of #swaps @ hundreds of thousands and thousands per second! #radix#cassie $xrd #crypto#blockchain https://t.co/6TgHcOytaQ
Found the absolute peak of a 32 shard #cassie network earlier today.
4 core/8GB/SSD spec -> max ~350,000 swaps/second.
Send more, finality goes up, transactions start to fail yada yada
Aim to replicate with community testing group tomorrow

We've integrated Radix (XRD) within Copper's platform.
Copper has partnered with @radixdlt to provide institutional custody services, offering a secure and seamless experience for managing digital assets.
Copper’s award-winning custody solution plays a pivotal role by enhancing accessibility for institutional investors to the Radix network and its ecosystem, allowing clients to safely manage and custody their assets directly through the Copper Platform.

@theBullishBit@RadixWiki Once we have a big number of users, we can think about lowering the transactions cost, for which we already have the architecture and sharding plans to make that happen.
@theBullishBit@RadixWiki I would argue devs and users will be attracted to the Layers with the best UX. Fees are of course a part of that but there many more important factors. Not worrying about drains (transaction manifest), native assets, smooth mobile experience and more and more.
Radix will enable the greatest publishing revolution the world has ever seen 👇
Humans tend to underestimate long-term progress but protocol revolutions have reliably been followed by exponential publishing revolutions.
Web0(?): Gutenberg’s 1440 printing press led to 20m books by 1500 and 1bn by 1800.
Web1: Internet protocols such as TCP/IP and SMTP powered 2bn websites and 300bn emails (per day) by 2021.
Web2: The API / SaaS revolution enabled Facebook, Squarespace and other platforms to publish ~50bn pages.
Web3: Bitcoin and Ethereum introduced permissionless settlement and execution but Radix is a suite of protocols that enable anyone to publish their own ungated Web3 application at a fraction of the current time and difficulty.
Native assets, state sharding, Cerberus consensus, finite state execution, atomic composability and atomic commitment are all fancy words that combine to mean one thing:
Radix is EASY to build on.
Cases in point:
➡️@Mariana0ka and @0xmetalogica took ideosphere . io from concept to testnet in 11 WEEKS.
➡️ @TroveEco was built in 300 lines of code by a (then) junior developer.
➡️@aus877 rewrote Ethereum’s proposed ERC404 standard in a single blueprint of 258 lines in a few days .
➡️@ociswap have implemented pool hooks long before Uniswap v4.
➡️@SelfiSocial is a better Blink built by a single developer @beemdvp.
Here’s why it’s easy to build on Radix:
∙ Native assets make it intuitive.
∙ Scrypto makes it fast.
∙ The Radix Engine makes it safe.
Throw in Claude from @AnthropicAI and EZ code platforms like @XIDAR_IDA and the development cycle will shorten by orders of magnitude in the coming years.
But don’t take our word for it, follow the cheat sheet below and try running a few Radix applications yourself!
New P2E game by @moxstd is awesome. Been playing for a week, it’s so rewarding and addictive I forgot it’s connected to @radixdlt.
Anyone saw this easter egg yet? Radix item buffs all of your stats! (surely a reference to tech superiority :D)
Well done!
