We don't often talk about #mentalhealth often keeping it a taboo. It is something that with #covid19 this year is having huge impacts on everyone. Long ago I came across the black dog analogy where depression is like a black dog that follows you around. https://t.co/2Ci1fyOnah
We looked at 3000 landing pages with conversion tracking set up to see the difference between high-converting landing pages and low-converting pages.
We placed the landing pages in 2 different buckets…
Pages that had a conversion rate of 2% or less.
And pages that had a conversion rate of more than 2%.
Keep in mind that these landing pages sold something. A conversion point wasn’t an email opt-in; it was someone making a purchase.
Here are the most common elements that the pages converting at more than 2% had that the ones converting in the lower group didn’t use as often.
1. Engaging hero shot
2. Use of video to describe what is being sold
3. Detailed list of benefits that typically could be expanded by someone clicking “see more”.
4. Testimonials with images of the person and the product.
5. Call to action that was more related to the product versus using a generic one.
6. High-quality images with text layered on the top that explained the benefit of the product.
7. Subscribe and save options.
8. Showcasing all the payment options by displaying logos (ex: PayPal)
9. Text that explains what makes the company and product unique from the competition.
10. A long, super detailed landing page versus one that just sells.
Try some of those elements and see what happens to your conversion rate.

They will be debating what action they want to take and whether they are willing to ask aid workers to risk their life.
We need sanctions immediately, to demand a ceasefire, and demand a trial for the horrific war crimes being committed.
As someone in the charity sector I am outraged at the news that three aid workers were intentionally targeted three times in three separate aid marked vehicles killing them.
This is a war crime. Enough is enough. #CeasefireNOW
Risk their own lives. This is not an isolated case with the recent flour massacres and health care workers, vehicles and locations being targeted.
Something has to change. Today there will be a lot of conversations going on behind the scenes
@TiaKofi congratulations! You really have been one of those queen's that I have loved every second you are on screen from drag race to doctor who fun to Six interview. You were incredible! Need you on tv to host #gbbo or something!
@indumbpendence@SophieP25397@jamieliddellth1 It was set up poorly and mostly helped those with more money, secure jobs and savings. A lot of people on or below the poverty line suffered because of how poorly it was set up to help the middle class.
@indumbpendence@SophieP25397@jamieliddellth1 Watch the big short. In the UK we got off easy with the impacts on the working man because of Brown. It was a different story in the US where millions lost their homes and jobs and lives because of it.
Furlough also didn't cover a lot of people, especially in working class
@GillianHodges14 @jamieliddellth1@SophieP25397 It's clear based on experts that if brown had stayed in power, even before Brexit vote stuff, our economy would be in a much better standing.
Never vote Tory - look over the years and see it's the same story on repeat that they cut services that save money.
@GillianHodges14 @jamieliddellth1@SophieP25397 People lost money and were queuing for hours in the hopes to get their money before it was lost. Then they got bailed out but people still lost money and things got really dicey.
Brown did stuff that had our economy in line to grow and then the conservatives took us back down
