@LearnArena @DahNewton @Hierakonpolis3 The structure of a university degree means I know exactly what their capabilities are. I can also be assured they have been assessed at a standardised level so the likelihood of them being full of shit is low. I don’t have that level of confidence with boot camps like these.
@LearnArena @DahNewton @Hierakonpolis3 He’s not wrong though, if you are trying to target would-be software engineers. I work as a software engineer as well, and I also hire new engineers from time to time - a university degree wins out over any boot camp-esque pseudo education every time.
@Satketsko@Hendu0520@elonmusk@RBReich Lol if you knew anything about software development you would know your brain can’t handle more than a few hours of actually writing code per day. 80 hours of focussed programming per week would burn out every dev I’ve ever known within a week.
@tyrellcorp_ops @avocato_bob @PumaharaC @Miss_Keene@SiouxsieW No, I don’t understand your point. If you are disputing the ministry of health’s statistics, it would help if you provided a source for your info.
@tyrellcorp_ops @avocato_bob @PumaharaC @Miss_Keene@SiouxsieW Sure, but considering 95% of the population are fully vaccinated, that would lump 1 dose and no doses at all into the same 5% figure. That infographic derives its data from the ministry of health as well, by the way. Here’s the source: https://t.co/h6MwlLrT38
@tyrellcorp_ops @avocato_bob @PumaharaC @Miss_Keene@SiouxsieW I literally used the infographic I replied to to calculate the proportion of deaths associated with unvaccinated individuals. 166/627 = 0.264 = ~26.4%. As for the 5% figure, the ministry of health website has vaccination data available for free, 95% of kiwis are vaccinated.
@CapriTrina@iamzooooo@NathanZed So far we’ve established: alopecia is not an autoimmune disorder, it’s experienced by 50% of males and 25% of females, and the prognosis is you lose your hair and may feel insecure about it. Does this warrant assault from a multimillionaire on a worldwide stage because of a joke?
@CapriTrina@iamzooooo@NathanZed “the cause of alopecia areata is autoimmune”, completely different issue. It can be funny to make fun of medical issues, that’s the point of comedy. Perhaps if she had terminal cancer that would be a little uncouth, but she’s fucking balding, she can afford a wig/hair transplant.
@CapriTrina@iamzooooo@NathanZed “Hair loss, also known as alopecia or baldness, refers to a loss of hair from part of the head or body. Typically at least the head is involved. Inflammation or scarring is not usually present. Hair loss in some people causes psychological distress.” - https://t.co/P39uOqyg4j
