Lastly for the growth of the game. We have now gone from 11 teams down to 6, yes it's great to have all the best talent on display, however, there is a better way to go about it then blindsiding the athletes in the PHF. One day this will get better, just not today.

As a former NWHL/PHF player, I struggle to wrap my head around the new situation for women’s hockey. My heart breaks for all my friends who signed contracts for the upcoming season, that are now anxiously having to figure out their next steps… 1/2 ( maybe 3🤷🏼‍♀️)
