The truth is:
Suicide is not selfish.
What’s selfish is blaming the dead instead of asking why they felt death was their only escape.
The real selfishness is in ignoring their suffering while they were alive.

She turned 71 this year. She's only 71.
at some point, you really have to tell yourself "this isn't an experience i want to keep having" and stop entertaining things that don't benefit you in any way
Sticking to no contact really helps your self confidence. You realize there isn’t a single person you can’t live without. You had a life before they existed in it, and you’ll have one after they’re gone. Their importance was only informed by your attention.
Suicidal people deserve a space to talk about their feelings without the fear of hospitalization, institutionalization, or being labeled manipulative or attention-seeking.
