These days I often read the @HeyAnonai Telegram chat and laugh.
I laugh, laugh, catch my breath while poking myself with questions in my head trying to justify the bullshit I’m reading, and then I go right back to laughing (give me a second, I’ll explain everything).

Years ago, I made a kazillion with @danielesesta s projects too bad it was only temporary, because despite everything, during that cycle those projects were worth gold and were the only ones with truly insane utility and narrative (friends, we had our own decentralized stablecoin; now the institutional suit-and-tie crowd wants us to believe they’re the ones bringing it to us, but Daniele had already seen far ahead back then). BUT, BUT, someone decided it was time to blow everything up, that second chances don’t exist (I love you Zach, love you too Sifu), and so the idiot writing these few lines, while traveling, basically lost everything.
While I had my balls soaking in water, I was scrolling through the charts and literally watching my capital die.

I decided to stay. I’m a fucking romantic, maybe just an idiot, but when I believe, I believe.

I was left with a few thousand dollars, but I couldn’t and didn’t want to deny what I thought. Okay, the capital was gone let’s skip over what I went through but I still know I had invested in a huge vision, not in paper combs for gorillas in heat.

You know what the most beautiful thing is? Waiting.
Today I read: the team delayed this, delayed that, some OGs from the community are there trying to keep spirits up and even take a few cheap shots for it.
Aside from that, building doesn’t mean walking on a paved road.

Concrete doesn’t exist in nature.
The road has to be carved out, sometimes by eating dirt because your arms can’t move shit anymore after digging for so long.

Daniele is one of those people who has eaten dirt.
He even spat it back in the VCs’ faces.

But you are the ones who stopped believing.

I keep asking for a 10 minute call with Daniele. I won’t give up. I want to talk to my idol for ten damn minutes.
But I also want to remind my idol who he is. Because I believe in him.
