🕹️ Splinterlanes is here! A fresh, high-intensity take on the Splinterlands gameplay you already know and love. Battle across three lanes at once with real-time card placement, deeper strategy, and the same cards you already own.

💸 Every match feeds the Splinterlands economy. Tickets cost a single cent 🎟, and the prize vault is filled with real cards bought from the secondary market — so playing the lanes keeps cards moving and keeps the vault full of sweet cards to win.

🏗️ Build your Deck. ✨ Collect Talismans — Lane-twisting relics that change the rules of your Friendly Lane, won as battle prizes and traded for DEC. 🪜 Climb the Ranked ladder. 🏆 Win real Splinterlands cards, delivered on-chain.

🎳 Why bowling? Splinterlanes → Lanes → the only lanes that matter. Picture the alley down the back street: the neon buzzes, half the pins are chipped, the carpet has seen things, and the regulars would not have it any other way. So Splinterlands rolled out a limited run of “Lanes” skins for your Splinterlands cards — six of them, fifty copies each, bowling-flavoured through and through: Cursed Slimeball, Furious Chicken, Lava Launcher, Portly Cannoneer, Surly Drunk and Yaba’s Pickle.

This week brings a new battle ruleset, important Modern Bracket improvements, and several quality-of-life updates across Praetoria. Plus, the Lucky Longshot Draws are ending soon!

Following the final draw, prizes will be distributed based on the Lucky Coin leaderboard. If you've been participating, now is the time to keep an eye on the leaderboard and get ready for the final results!

🛡️ New Ruleset: Equalized Armor
⚔️ A new ruleset has arrived!

Under Equalized Armor, every unit starts with armor equal to the unit with the highest armor in play.
This could change how you build your lineup and which units you bring into battle. Make the most of that extra protection!

🧬 Mimic Changes
All Kindred Spirit and Kindred Will abilities can no longer be mimicked.

🏅 Modern Bracket Updates
Several improvements have been made to Modern Brackets to make ratings, rankings, and rewards clearer and more consistent.

🔄 Bracket Selection & Resets: Selecting a Modern Bracket now restores your rating and league based on your most recent prior season in that bracket.
🔧 Fixed an issue that prevented Modern leagues from resetting properly at the end of a season.
👥 Fixed Modern Bracket player counts so players who begin playing after the season ends are counted correctly.
⚔️ Battle results now display the rating badge you had at the time of the battle, rather than your current rating.
💰 Added SPS pool information to the Modern Bracket display.
📊 Bracket leaderboards now show your percentage of the total Reward Shares (rshares) in your bracket for supported formats.

🛠️ General Updates & Fixes
🎵 Added a genre tag and filter for Splintervibes on the Non-Card Market.
⚙️ Fixed potion toggles in the Mana Well and auto-renew toggles on the SPS Rental page so settings save properly.
⚠️ Fixed an issue where warnings about combining unbound cards with bound cards were missing in some situations.
🎨 Fixed the View Skins link on Alterations claims.
🔄 Updated resource swap notifications to show both what was spent and what was received.
🪙 Added the SPS icon to the Modern SPS display at the end of the season.

The spooky season has arrived in Praetoria! Hallows Fall is back, bringing a fresh collection of haunted cosmetics, Halloween stickers, and limited-edition skins to discover throughout the game.

⚔️ Gameplay Updates
⏱️ Improved the display behavior while waiting for an opponent during Tactics selection.
🏹 Volley Fix: Fixed an issue where Ranged attacks with higher Speed weren't triggering before the Volley attack as intended.

🏆 Modern Bracket Rewards: Starting with the second season of October, the cap on Modern Bracket winnings will increase from 2% to 4%. This change will affect the SPS distribution at the end of October.

🛠️ General Updates & Improvements

🎨 Artisan Quarter & Stickers

✨ 25 new player-created stickers are now available in the Artisan Quarter! Filter by New! on individual stickers and packs to find them all.

📦 Sections containing content that is no longer available to craft have been hidden from the Artisan Quarter. Any claims previously located there have been moved to the Claim Center.

🔔 Improved notifications when receiving older stickers through direct transfers, even when they aren't stored in your binder.

🃏 Cards, Binders & Trading

📖 Binders now let you remove individual pages, which also removes all cards on that page from the binder.

🔎 Added an On Bracket Cooldown filter to the card display.

🤝 Cards on bracket cooldown can now appear as options in Trade Offers.

🔧 Fixed an issue where the Combine display sometimes showed the wrong level for the resulting card.

🛡️ Battle & Lobby Improvements

⚙️ Added a new setting to disable adjusted-stat animations during team creation.

▶️ Fixed an obscure issue where stacking certain Kindred abilities could cause battle replays to hang.

👥 Fixed Survival Brackets not displaying their player counts.

📜 Modern battle history records will no longer display the bracket in which the match was played.

🎵 Improved the display of the Splintervibes player on mobile during team creation and battle replays.

This week’s release brings several Modern Brackets fixes and improvements, along with updates to Splintervibes, Survival, the Daily Wheel, and more!

🎵 Splintervibes & UI Updates

🎶 Splintervibes Rework

The Splintervibes player UI has been reworked and is now separated from the Volume Controls.

🔊 App bar volume options have been expanded, and additional controls are now available while playing Splintervibes.

🏅 Modern Lobby Improvements

Fixed several broken Modern badge animations in the lobby.
Fixed Division 2 incorrectly appearing in some locations when a player was actually in Division 1.
Fixed the Modern Top Battles results.

⚔️ Gameplay Updates

🔥 Modern Win Streaks

With the recent changes to Modern, the rating cutoff for win streaks has been reduced from 3,700 to 3,000 Rating.

🛠️ Modern Brackets Fixes

Fixed an issue that prevented Exemplar from being played correctly in Modern Brackets.

⚙️ General Updates

🎡 Updated the Daily Wheel Spin to remove the out-of-stock card tile.
🔔 Updated the notification shown when receiving a Sticker through an item transfer.
🃏 Cards that have been rented or delegated out will no longer count toward your depleted card count in the Survival section of the lobby.
🛡️ Cleaned up the Survival Enabled/Disabled icon and tooltip for rented cards.

🔧 Additional Hotfixes

Several fixes were also deployed ahead of this release:

Fixed various Modern Brackets display issues, including missing reward points in history summaries, bot levels appearing during Modern tactics, and incorrect text.
Fixed an issue with advancement claims remaining visible from the previous season.
