#ILPol: Raja Krishnamoorthi has placed his 1st #ILSenate TV ad buys. So far, he's placed $92k in reservations with ads starting tomorrow.
This is the 1st TV ad reservation targeting the IL Senate primary following Dick Durbin's announcement that he is not seeking re-election.
This is what America looks like.
This is what the American Dream looks like.
And this is what my campaign for Senate is all about.
Happy Fourth of July, Illinois! 🇺🇸
Only in America can a child of immigrants with 29 letters in their name go on to serve in Congress.
Only in America can a boy who grew up on food stamps and public housing run for Senate.
We’re building a movement that will defeat Donald Trump and stand up for Illinoisans 🇺🇸
Praying for all those aboard the crashed flights in DC, reported to include a flight originating from Wichita, Kansas.
Our hearts are with you and your families. Thank you to the first responders working tirelessly in their search and rescue efforts.

I’ve tried to stay away from partisan politics this year to focus on nonpartisan work with as little bias as possible; but at some point I have to address the elephant in the room as to why my party is losing.
This is exactly the rhetoric that caused Democrats to lose. This is exactly the attitude that must change. Democrats have allowed themselves to become the “party of elites.” We think that because educated people support us that that makes us superior. We are on a moral high horse
CNN has a story titled “where the Harris campaign went wrong.”
Nope, I won’t read it.
Harris ran a great campaign.
The story should be titled “where the American people went wrong.”
We assume that the American people will vote for us because we “know” our policies are superior. That’s not enough. We have to prove it. It doesn’t matter how many economists prefer Harris’ plan when people are struggling to put food on the table.
I'll do a more in-depth analysis during the week to post ASAP, but I can already see 2, maybe 3, key pain points that I had. One was a trend that reverted faster than I anticipated, and one was a minor (but impactful) subjective metric I was slightly off on.

Good morning from Kansas!
I wasn't following Kansas results closely yesterday as I was covering results for another org. I missed a handful of seats across the state, and overall, I'm slightly disappointed. But conducting a brief autopsy, I'm happy with the route I took.
