you not black first. or a woman first. you’re a black woman. that’s it. your experience with misogyny is unique because of racism. your experience with racism is different because you’re a woman. the term ‘intersectionality’ exists because our experience is so unique.
It’s not even just “black people” they hate the darker people in their own races. Just look at how Indians talk about darker skin Indians. How Koreans talk about any Korean 2 shades darker than the rest of them. It’s insidious.

as a self respecting black person u rly reach a point in ur political awareness journey where u lose hope in POC solidarity cuz u now cant help but notice 24/7 how inescapable antiblack racism is in every corner of society…and true solidarity is so rare it’s actually depressing
it’s your god given right to half ass your job. show up high. listen to music while you work. go to the bathroom to go on your phone. do as little work as possible
