When I was in the second grade I got into a fight with a kid because he was talking bad about Haitian people and I'm Haitian. My mom gets to the office and I explain to her why I got into a fight and she's holding back laughter as she explains to me, I am indeed not Haitian

Clarity is needed. The New Orleans Zulu tradition is NOT an American thing, it's New Orleans specific so don't attack Americans for something that's not American. Also New Orleans ppl were on the side of Tyla & "coloured" identity when USA wasn't. I hope this helps.
