Yayyy! It’s World menstrual hygiene day! 🥳 WMHD is celebrated on the 28th of May every year! The theme for this year’s WMHD is "MAKING MENSTRUATION A NORMAL FACT OF LIFE BY 2030."

The lack of adequate access to water and sanitation, particularly in schools add to the cultural complexity around menstrual hygiene and its impact on young girls which include Successive absences from school which can make them end up becoming school drop-outs.
