It’s January 22, 2024. Donald Trump will certainly be the Republican nominee for President later this year. More than 25,000 people have been murdered in Palestine while western countries continue to supply bombs, weapons and hardware so the killing can continue. Doctors, journalists and other professionals are being reprimanded and sacked after being reported by organised groups merely for publishing social media posts deploring a genocide. Australia just experienced its hottest year (by far) on record and could pass its hottest ever day tomorrow. The Great Barrier Reef is dying faster than anyone predicted. The richest people in the country will shortly get a huge pay-rise while tens of thousands of children live in cars and tents and hospitals approach breaking point. Ordinary Australians can’t afford their mortgages or rent because the RBA is permitted to smash families as a way to control inflation rather than anyone making any significant attempt to rein in the real culprit: company profits and price-gouging. Dozens of people are dying daily because there’s no political will to implement simple protections for a deadly and disabling but largely controllable virus. Car and other transportation crashes are rising fast, probably because of brain damage and brain fog caused by that same deadly disease. 33 percent of Australia’s elderly live in poverty, reportedly the highest proportion in the western world. The mainstream media has no handle on any of these crises and continues to deceive the public it’s meant to serve because it cares for nothing but link clicks and popularity and propping up its Murdoch mates. And Rupert Murdoch, who’s well known to be the most dangerous man in the world is still alive and still causing havoc wherever his lies and hatred spreads both in the countries where he operates and many other countries which take their cues and mores from what’s now a globally influential and breathtakingly dangerous propaganda machine.
