@trafficscotland@SETrunkRoads What shambling genius decided those two closures were a good idea ON THE SAME NIGHT?!?!?! Absolutely unforgivable stupid decision. Any pressing reason for both on the same night? Even if one of these is an emergency for urgent remedial works the other should then be postponed
@ScotRail Still, a weekend night, if I want to go for a meal out in Edinburgh tonight (which I do) I'm not able to use the train. So my choices are bus (over an hour each way) or stay in Edinburgh. So much for encouraging train use! "Temporary timetable" that doesn't have an end date too.

Frozen pipes or no water?
Turn off the water supply and open your taps. When the pipes start to thaw the water will drain out the taps reducing the pressure on the pipework, and the possibility of pipes bursting.
Once thawed out, turn off taps, turn on water and check for leaks.
