But what do people see? The popular fandoms. If this discussion doesn't affect you, then it doesn't affect you.

@vilboos you misunderstand one crucial thing: it's okay to suck at things. You still deserve to publish fic even if it sucks.

But it does suck. And we are allowed to talk about it in the same way we talk generally about beginner artists shading with black and misunderstanding anatomy.
