Today is Principal Appreciation Day! We honor and celebrate our dedicated school leaders who work tirelessly to create an environment where our students can learn, grow, and thrive.
It’s been an educational morning learning about the STEM projects underway at @SPARK_STEM, @LimestoneCTE and Tanner Elementary.
These schools received TVA grants to support their efforts. Congratulations from Athens Utilities and the City of Athens.

Seniors enrolled in the Ready-to-Work Program throughout our 6 high schools spent Tuesday persuading local companies, including our own HR department, to hire them. Through the Ready-to-Work program, students have been trained in basic soft skills and employability expectations.
Earlier this week, as a way to celebrate the value, achievements, and accomplishments of the @LimestoneCTE , Superintendent Dr. Randy Shearouse, presented Directors Vince Green and John Wilson, with a proclamation proclaiming February as Career and Technical Education Month.

Monday afternoon, the Athens-Limestone Chamber of Commerce and LCEDA partnered to provide 10 students from Limestone County, Athens City, and Athens Bible School a $1,500 scholarship for those pursuing a career in manufacturing, healthcare, IT, & construction.
