@Only1Aether DS1 is the worst of them all but that’s not because it’s a bad game, it just hasn’t aged well (like Demons Souls). I think bones wise it has the strongest foundation and if it had modern polish would blow the rest out of the water. That said, peak souls 2 wins… (bait)

I can't agree that Activision is worse for Halo. Halo is already at rock bottom. The past 15 years has seen:
- 3 mainline games that are universally panned
- A broken live service with microtransactions and sbmm
- 2 broken half remakes of Halo CE
- 1 collection of repackaged Halo titles that shipped broken
- Mid mobile games
- A terrible tv show
- The death of halo mega bloks
- Declining merch sales
- A million books ruining the lore (rip alpha nine)
- Lazy narratives and garbage writing
- Missing modes and core pieces at launch multiple times
- Scrapped splitscreen modes
- Total collapse in the popularity of the franchise
Halo is cooked. The only way forward is to pass the mantle to someone new.
