What Happened

Earlier today, our website received 400M+ server requests from bots, causing our website to crash and our smart contract to be flagged, clearly a targeted attack. We quickly contacted Metamask & BlockAid to resolve the situation and got our site back up, however, the disclaimer on the contract takes 24 hours to clear. In addition, our Discord was then targeted by bots posting phishing links and thus we had to shut down the text chat channels and disable invites to keep our community safe.

Our Solution

We want this event to be a celebration, a major milestone in our journey to create the future of gaming, and we want to offer a user experience that is as smooth as possible. Thus we’ve decided to shift the $XBG Presale up by one day, stick to the 7-day schedule and increase our security altogether. We understand your frustration, and we can’t wait either, see you tomorrow!
