The brilliant Friends of Limpsfield Common (FOLC), that works with the National Trust to support the conservation, care and enjoyment of Limpsfield Common, has a favour to ask... that you give them some feedback via a short survey: https://t.co/FWq8bFDgYG .

Today is the 80th anniversary of the D Day landings that changed the course of events for the 20th Century and beyond. Limpsfield, being close to London and Biggin Hill Airport, saw plenty of action in WW2, with Canadian air force based here, a secret runway behind Park Road!
At this time of year, there are lots of ground nesting birds and baby animals on Limpsfield Common, Ridlands Grove and High Chart, including very young deer.
Please help to give them a chance - only walk on the designated footpaths / bridleways and keep dogs on the lead.
Small biodiversity project grants from @limpsfieldpc.
As part of its biodiversity action plan, Limpsfield Parish Council has made available £2000 (total) to be allocated as small funds for local organisations and individuals who wish to promote biodiversity in public areas.
