We must celebrate every achievement ! When someone with special needs brings home a medal for the country, it deserves the same recognition, applause, and pride. Even though they dont fall into the so called " elites " catagories 🏅❤️ #Inclusion#Respect
👏Kudos to Maldives!
Ahead of #HLM4, the Maldives Minister of Health, Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim, emphasises the urgent need to #ActOnNCDs and highlights the crucial role of leadership at all levels in saving lives and protecting economies from the growing burden of NCDs.
👏"Together we can turn commitments into change," says the Minister. "Together, we can build healthier societies and stronger nations!"
⏰It's time to #LeadOnNCDs ⏰

@SolympicsMV serves a marginalized community who often don’t have access to private sports academies or the same opportunities as the rest of us. It’s disheartening to see such a well run program halted due to lack of funds.
If you are interested to support do reach out to SOM.
Recognition is not inclusion if it leaves out those with intellectual disabilities. We build inclusion from the ground up, not from elite levels down. This decision didn’t forget us. It reminded us we were never part of the plan.

Every child has a unique light, and it's our role to nurture and celebrate it. My daughter teaches me resilience, creativity, and unconditional love, reminding us that success and happiness take many forms and that embracing differences helps us all thrive. So very blessed 💝💖

Insha Allah, more such opportunities for u in the future. Even though u don't fall into the so-called elite categories, u are worth being recognised and valued for your abilities. Your disabilities shud not deprive you of having such opportunities.

Everyone, take a moment to watch this video featuring Madison Tevlin - a woman with Down syndrome challenging stereotypes with her powerful statements. Reflect on the narrative, the music, the storytelling, and the overall vibe. This is the kind of positive and empowering representation I aspire to see in Maldives media!
