How does everyone maintain a balance between building and posting?
Posting a minimum of 3 times and engaging with others takes a lot of time away from building.
How do you stay active on here without letting the build stall?
@Codex_Nerd I agree. When there is less building to do, maintaining a posting schedule is so much easier. But posting and engaging consistently while building out a feature feels near impossible. It makes me wonder if it’s best to have a stable product before diving in to posting about it
@Codex_Nerd I agree! I’ve talked to a lot of engineering managers who miss being in the code. Delegating work is becoming less of a choice - if you don’t use AI tools you fall behind
The traditional developer is dead.
With AI writing the raw syntax, engineering is starting to look a lot more like management.
Congratulations, you've been promoted to engineering manager.
@moonfarm_dev@WhiskyToad I agree! Cloudflare has great prices. I’ve also started using the Cloudflare tunnel instead of ngrok and it’s absolutely amazing
I caught myself spending more time trying to connect with new people than interacting with the content of people I already connected with.
I will scroll past posts from people I deliberately followed just to chase new followers. A feed of silent accounts does nothing when the connections who interact with each other are where the real value is.
Do you spend more time chasing new connections, or engaging with people you already follow?
